FAQ

Every product page lists bore, stroke and displacement. Check your engine code and original bore against the “Original size” row; if you are upgrading, read the “Big bore size” row instead. If you are unsure, send us the engine number and we will check it for you.

A cast-iron liner is proven, economical and wear-resistant — the sensible choice for ordinary service work. A ceramic plating is applied straight onto the aluminium body with no liner at all: the heat path is shorter, the wall is thinner, and the same outside diameter allows a larger bore. It suits high-revving and liquid-cooled engines. The two use different ring specifications and are not interchangeable.

A standard kit contains the cylinder, piston, ring set, wrist pin with circlips and the matching cylinder gasket. Some part numbers also include a head gasket — the product page states what ships in the box.

We are a manufacturer serving distributors and workshops, so the quantity depends on the part number and whether custom packaging is involved. Send the models and quantities through the inquiry list and we will come back with terms.

Yes. We develop bespoke specifications from your engine data, drawings or a physical sample — bore sizing, material, surface treatment, packaging and labelling. Please include the engine model and expected annual volume when you enquire.

Stocked part numbers are scheduled once the order is confirmed; made-to-order numbers depend on batch size and the production schedule. The order confirmation from our sales team is the binding date — tell us your target arrival date when you enquire.
